The
Officiant and the Ceremony
Your
wedding ceremony is officiated by either Reverend Jennifer Stiastny or
Reverend Chuck Stiastny. They
are both ordained non-denominational ministers for the State of
Hawaii. They
radiate in the joy and love of their faith and will bring that
joy and love to share at your wedding.
Begin with a Lei Exchange in the Hawaiian tradition in a
romantic wedding ceremony you will cherish forever.

Beach
Locations
There are many
beautiful tropical beaches here on the Island of Hawaii that are available for
you to choose from. The best
beaches for your wedding ceremony are clustered along the Big Island’s western
shore. Public beach parks offer
grassy areas with ocean views and swaying palms for picture perfect weddings.
There are no fees for these grounds and no reservations are required.
We will be happy to suggest the perfect beach location for your ceremony.
Once you are booked with us we will send you a copy of your ceremony for you to
review. You may alter or embellish
the copy of this ceremony in any way and send it back to us.

The Marriage License Appointment
Add to Order
A Marriage
License in the State of Hawaii is issued by a state appointed Marriage License
Agent. We will arrange an
appointment for you with a marriage license agent, usually the day before your
wedding with your approval. We will
send you a map to the appointment with the time and date.
You must both attend the
appointment and you must both bring a photo ID or a Driver’s License.
You must
also bring $50 in cash to pay for the license, as only cash will be accepted by
the marriage
license agent If either of you are 18 years of age or younger a birth
certificate is required; under 18 years of age also requires written consent
from parents, a legal guardian or a family court. If either of you have been married before, you will be asked
the exact date (i.e. month, day, year), County and State of the divorce, if
applicable. If either of you have
been divorced
in the last 6 months you will need to bring a copy of your final divorce decree.
There are no residence or citizenship requirements.
There
is no waiting period and the marriage license agent will give you your license
at the end of the appointment. The
license is valid only in the State of Hawaii and expires 30 days after the date
of issue. You must bring your
Marriage License to the ceremony. The
Officiant signs the Marriage License at the ceremony and mails the document to
the State. The State of Hawaii
mails you an official, computer generated copy of your Marriage Certificate 90
– 120 days after your wedding. If
you need a Marriage Certificate sooner, ask your Marriage License Agent for a
green request form for a certified copy. Refer
to the request form for the correct fee and complete mailing address.
